Water tank installation 2024

The number of seniors supported by ROTOM who received a water tank reached 25 by March 2024! Our office in Grossalmerode has provided donations for the water tank project amounting to €8,850. Our sincere thanks go to our dedicated donors for ensuring that ROTOM seniors have sufficient clean water for cooking, washing and cleaning for daily tasks. The 25 seniors are very grateful to the donors and each of them said that they are now freed from the heavy burden of carrying their water up and down the hills every day.

How to install a water tank:

1.              Purchase of the necessary materials (sand, bricks, cement, water tank, gutters, faucets, pipes and accessories) to the target area.

2.               Transport of materials to the construction site in the hills.

3.               Construction of the foundation for the water tank.

4.               Attaching the tank to the base.

5.               Connecting the gutters to the water tank.
