I am running a 10k race in Bideford on Sun 13th May to help raise funds to build decent toilets for some elderly people in a very poor rural community in Uganda. We are aiming to fund toilets for 27 elderly people that ROTOM UK support. ROTOM's aim is to "Enable elderly people to live dignified and fulfilled lives". Decent loos will go a long way to improving their health and enabling their dignity. Please sponsor me for as much as you can. Thanks Love Rose

ROTOM supports over 1000 elderly people in very poor communities in Uganda. Here in the UK we support 35 people 27 of whom do not have adequate, safe, toilets and some have none at all. Our aim is to fund 27 new latrines by the end of the year. So far we have managed to fund 10. Please help us achieve this goal by sponsoring me in my first ever race. It is a bit scary but I am determined to finish the race even if it’s on my knees. We all take for granted a decent clean loo and the privacy that comes with a nice bathroom.
Please, please, please help us do this.
