- Maria Namusisi’s Story
Maria was diagnosed last year with advanced cervical cancer. Realistically there was no active treatment, neither chemotherapy nor radiotherapy being available for her. Palliative care was needed but her monthly support did not run to the costly drugs she would need to make her last days as comfortable and dignified as possible.
