A message from ROTOM Grandchildren and Champions, staying home to stay safe during COVID-19

This video was made by the amazing people of ROTOM Uganda: “#COVID19 is disrupting education across the globe, and our grandchildren are staying at home. We asked some of our grandchildren about what they are doing while at home. Here’s what THEY said!”

Supporting ROTOM during
the COVID-19 Pandemic

Welcome to ROTOM Canada!

On behalf of the older persons and children we serve and on behalf of the ROTOM Canada team, I write to you today to thank you very much for your faithful and unfailing support. Our ROTOM teams in Uganda are able to be a source of provision, hope and encouragement for hundreds of older persons and children in their care in Uganda and Ethiopia during these difficult times.

We all know that the coronavirus – COVID 19 outbreak has brought fear all around us but the faithful staff and volunteers of ROTOM have been a beacon of love and hope. You can track confirmed cases in Uganda here.

I want to assure you that our dedicated teams are doing everything possible to reach out to ROTOM’s seniors and their families with emotional, spiritual and physical support in this time of great crisis. The actual ministry and interventions are adjusted to current restrictions, precautions and needs. For example, as the fellowship meals at our centres are currently not possible, we are providing emergency food supplies to homes as well as ongoing education and supplies for vigorous hand-washing.

Make An Impact!

Thank you for support and faith during these trying times. We ask that you continue to pray for our friends in ROTOM Uganda.
