Each year, ROTOM organizes the ROTOM Run on 27th Dec. 2020 in Muhanga, Rukiga district-South Western Uganda to raise funds for building a theater and trauma center at ROTOM Health Center in Muhanga. As we come to close to the 27th, we are excited and look forward to ROTOM Run 2020, except that it will be unique and different. It will be a VIRTUAL RUN.
Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), this year, there will be no physical ROTOM Run Event on the 27th day of December 2020. Instead, we invite you – all our friends and supporters to join us in an amazing fun moment via the internet. Welcome to ROTOM 2020 VIRTUAL RUN!
It going to FUN, BIG and REAL. All we need is you and your commitment to keep the reason for the ROTOM Run at the center. Keep with us until we achieve the goal of building a theatre and trauma center at ROTOM Health Centre in Muhanga.
Being virtual makes it easy for you, your family, and more friends to participate. You can do it from anywhere. Even friends from afar will now be able to participate. We know the excitement of being together in Muhanga, but you know what, we can create the excitement online. Let’s do it.
All we need is you. We’re asking you for only three things;
- Give any amount of your choice towards our ROTOM RUN Campaign. All proceeds go towards our “ROTOM Theatre & Trauma Center Fund” for the ROTOM Muhanga Health Centre.
- Run/Walk for ROTOM ANYTIME from ANYWHERE on December 27th, 2020; Run/Walk individually or with your family and friends. Set a distance of your choice. Register with us for only UGX 10,000 per individual, UGX 15,000 per couple, or UGX 30,000 per family. (You can even run in the comfort of your own home).
- Share with us images or videos of your favorite fun moments of your ROTOM Run Experience by December 30th, 2020. Let us know if we can share these with ROTOM friends. You may send your photos or videos on WhatsApp number +256 784629290 or email them to [email protected] and a link to these fun moments will be available to you and all friends.
We need at least 100 runners/walkers and we’re counting on YOU!
